Online Hypnotherapy

Qualifications

Qualifications

To practice Hypnotherapy in the U.S.A. one is not required to have a PhD, or a license, yet there is a requirement concerning the extent of our training.

One can become a "hypnotist" with less than a few weekends worth of training… But to become a "Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist" 200+ hours are required.

You, dear visitor, may rest assured that I am a fully trained and qualified Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and have been since I graduated after completing 200+ hours of training in 1993. My instructor, James Maynard, J.D., CCHT, is a nationally recognized hypnotherapist and author, (The Unlimited Human: From Limitation to Liberation), who has created a unique synthesis of "state of the art" techniques of hypnosis and therapeutic processes - which is the fruition of over 20 years of work. He is the former Dean of Cluny Hill College at Findhorn Scotland, has taught hypnosis at Southern Oregon College and John Bastyr College, and is the Founder of the Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Institute. He teaches and practices at the Institute in Los Angeles.

By the way, We can still meet "face to face" using video capable software!

Please note: Although highly effective for many conditions hypnotherapy is not intended as a substitute for routine or urgent medical evaluation, treatment or consultation. Individuals with URGENT MEDICAL PROBLEMS are requested to seek advice from their own physician, or from appropriate health care professionals. Hypnotherapy is as individual as the therapist and client, therefore outcomes and processes described and experiences related in client testimonials on this web site, in emails or in other communications from Online Hypnotherapy should not be considered general to all therapists and clients.
