People always ask me what type of problems I treat. Many want help to become a non-smoker. Here is a testimonial written by a client who wanted to stop smoking.

Tony

Tony's pictureHi y'all, my name is Tony, a 41 year old male living in TN. I met Doug playing dominoes online in a league I often play in. Him and me, we hit it off from the start, laughing and cutting up well into the morning hours. After playing for awhile, like two months or so, I learned Doug was a hypnotist. I always had an interest in hypnotism and asked him about it one day. He told me had a web site online and I should go check it out. I did, and went back several times, and read all the testimonials. It sounded pretty good.

For years I had been trying to quit smoking. First, I starting smoking when I was 15, and I'm smoking like two to three packs a day now. I went from smoking the regular to lights , then ultra lights, but found myself just smoking more, esp. in front of the computer at night. So after careful consideration, and looking at Doug's site a few more times I finally decided to let Doug help me with my problem.

So one night I ask Doug when we were playing dominoes to set up a session. We talked there online about what to expect and how the session was to take place over the phone. I was still kind of hesitant at this point but I trusted Doug, as I had now known him over the months as we played in the same dominoes league. After a little more chatting I decided to go ahead with it.

The Session:

We set a date and time to call and I was looking forward to it. The time came and I called. Doug sounded like a hypnotist on the phone , deep voice, relaxing. We started into the session I was getting more relaxed. About half-way thru the session my portable phone started beeping. Oh no, I thought, it's going dead on me. Well, needless to say I couldn't concentrate on Doug's voice any longer so we had to stop...... I thought , "Oh great, now what?" Sitting there thinking , I know what, since I'm not working, I'll just drive down and do an in person session. I thought it's got to be easier than on the phone (plus I wanted to met Doug).

Told my dad I was going to South Carolina to see a hypnotist to stop smoking & he thought I was nuts. But dad knew if it worked I would be a lot healthier so off I went. I had just purchased a carton of smokes and only smoked three or four packs out of it. Doug told me to bring it with me when I came. So here I am driving over the mountains smoking one after the other knowing when I get there won't be no more smoking. WOOHOOO!

Upon arriving Doug was outside waiting for me. We greeted each other and I was smoking my last cigarette. He asked me: "Where's that carton? We need to do something! I got the carton out the car, which still had like 5 or 6 full packs in it and he took me over to the dumpster. Now you want to quit, start right now and open each pack tear 'em up and throw 'em away. Thinking to myself I wasted money on these for the last time and proceeded to throw them in.

We then went inside and got comfortable. By the way, he's got a killer computer set up. We talked and ate and later that night after getting settled from the trip we were ready for the session. I had a little idea what to expect from the phone session gone bad, but this time no dead batteries. The session proceeded on without a hitch this time. I was aware of Doug's voice and relaxed and listened going deeper into that state of hypnosis. At first I kept thinking am I really hypnotized?

Afterwards I got up feeling refreshed and at ease. I could remember everything that had happened. Feeling good about myself now because I didn't "want" to smoke now. It was amazing I thought, still kind of skeptical, I never said anything to Doug yet. I was spending the night, so I got to play on his puter that night. Never once did I even think about smoking. Went on to bed and got up the next morning.

Got up and u smokers know the first thing we think of in the morning, grab that pack and light one up. Well not this morning. I felt good, was breathing easier. It was a good morning. Doug and I decided we go get some breakfast before I left out. We got to the restaurant and ate a huge breakfast and as I sat there drinking my coffee I looked over at Doug and said: "Ya know what? I'm really amazed. I think it worked. I would've been lighting one up for sure after I ate."

The long drive home surprised me too, (even though Doug had explained that the urge would be gone from the session work we did), because I found that I STILL did not want a cigarette. Doug had given me a CD that would reinforce the session and explained that I needed to use for at least 30 days in order to help break the habit itself, and I listened to it the first 4 or 5 days. I was so amazed at my progress, it was like I had never even had a smoking habit. Being the kind of guy I am, I stopped listening to the CD and kept off cigarettes for like two full months, enjoying the fresh air and not having to smoke. My family was amazed also that I had stopped smoking and was very happy for me, as I was for myself.

The BIG "oops"!

My sister-in-law had been asking me how I was doing and wanted to know if it really worked because she thought she might want to try it. I told her it was great , it's like I never smoked. But one day I thought I was doing so well I would try just one, and man was that a mistake!! It tasted so good....but that got me started back smoking again. I called Doug up and told him what happened. The first thing out of his mouth was: You didn't use the cd?OOPS!! I told him at first I did, but after the first week I was doing so well I didn't think I needed it.

The Repeated Session:

Then, determined that I was going to beat this thing, I decided its time to go see Doug again. This time I brought sis along. She wanted to stop also. So we both went thru the session (my second time) and u better believe I'm using the CD this time. We are both enjoying the pleasures of being non smokers now and hope to stay that way this time. I highly recommend talking with Doug and letting him do for you what he's done for me, by helping me to stop smoking, my life is the best it can be. Thanks again ole buddy!!
